Here it goes.

So I've decided to do it, take the plunge and start "blogging." This is just an outlet for me to record things and places and events where God has revealed himself to me. I am a sinner, and obviously not even close to perfect so if you see flaws in this, feel free to point them out to me (preferably in private). I'm still learning what it is to be a Christian, and how to sort out my faith (I feel like I will never stop figuring that out). So I invite you to take part in my journey, and to share in my triumphs and in my many struggles.

I feel like this is an excellent place for me to show those close to me where I'm at with God, and the things in his word and in everyday life that affect me (and yes i did bust out my Associated Press style book to look up affect vs. effect. affect means to influence; effect means to cause. So hope fully the things that affect (influence) me will effect (cause) a change in me, and maybe you!)

This won't be updated every day, and I'm not going to be a slave to this machine. But I want to be able to have a place to share and actualize my faith, and the things that influence me. I feel that one of my biggest struggles is my lack of self-analysis. I have a tendency to just float through life and not really sort through the mess that is my life. So like I said earlier, I pray that this is a) a blessing to me and b) a blessing to you!
